Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Pink Floyd. For me, listening to music is about the experience. I get lost in the music. Pink Floyd is one of those bands that does that for me.
Because I connected with the music so much, I had to learn how to play it. And once I started playing it, I knew I had to share it with others. That's why I founded Pink Noise, Pittsburgh's very own Pink Floyd tribute band, in 1999.
Pink Noise plays your favorite Pink Floyd songs in clubs, bars, amphitheaters, festivals and fairs in the Pittsburgh area. We played four years straight at Moon Park. We played the Pittsburgh Regatta several times, and opened for Bachman Turner Overdrive in 2000. We also played several stints at the Carnegie Science Center laser shows.
We concentrate on the music and fans are pleasantly surprised that a three-piece band can cover such a wide array of Pink Floyd tunes.
If you're old enough, you may also remember me from my other bands, Jukebox Zero, Amherst and Kugaranne.
We'll play all your favorite Pink FLoyd songs, plus a few you may have forgotten about.
